Robert (Bob/Uncle Bushtie) MacIver, 86, of Center Ossipee, N.H., passed peacefully at the Mountain View Community, family at his side. He came into the world on Sept. 24, 1932, in Littleton, N.H., the fifth child of Murdoch and Margaret (Morrison) MacIver.

He attended Apthorp schools and graduated Littleton High School in June of 1952. He married his one true love, Joanne (Thomas) MacIver, also of Littleton, in 1953. Bob was a Korean War veteran, USAF. Upon his safe return, he chose a career path as an air traffic controller for the FAA. The family eventually settled in Nashua, N.H.
