Ralph Elton Copp Jr., 79, died peacefully at his home in Ossipee, N.H., on Oct. 22, 2018, with his family beside him. He was the son of Ralph and Louise (Nichols) Copp.

A lifelong resident of Ossipee, Elton was a master carpenter who built, renovated and repaired countless homes and outbuildings for many in the Ossipee area. Matching his superior woodworking skills was his love of sharing tips for how to build something that lasts, as well as his lively sense of humor. Deer hunting in fall, fishing in spring and ice fishing in winter were favorite pastimes.
