Erna Fischer

Erna Fischer, age 88, of Silver Lake, N.H., passed from this life into our Lord’s care on Tuesday, June 24. Erna was born in Reichenau, Germany, daughter of Ludwig and Elfriede Fischer. Erna spent her youth and received most of her education in Czechoslovakia and Germany. She received her Nurse Training and schooling in Wiesbaden, Germany, and arrived in America in 1966.

She was employed at Franklin Regional Hospital for 10 years. Erna moved to Silver Lake in 1995 and served as a nurse in the Operating Room at Memorial Hospital in North Conway until she retired in 2001 and enjoyed her retirement at home in Silver Lake.
