The Silver Lake Singers for Hospice and Healing, a chorus of men and women who share a love of singing and the desire for service through the gift of song, will present their annual concerts at The Little White Church in Eaton on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. and at the Jackson Community Church on Sunday, Nov 3 at 3 p.m. There is no set admission, but donations will be welcome to benefit the Little White Church steeple restoration fund on Friday and the Waystation for the homeless on Sunday.
The choir, led by Mary Edes, is made up of more than 40 people from various backgrounds who have been singing together for the past five years. They are an important part of the hospice program, singing in nursing facilities and in small groups at bedside in people’s homes.
