The Mountain Garden Club has announced the recipients of its 2025 Alice T. Madden Scholarship. Each year, the club awards scholarships to deserving applicants from the Mount Washington Valley, including all towns served by Kennett High School and Fryeburg Academy. This year’s three recipients each received a scholarship in the amount of $1,600.

Scholarships are offered to support students aspiring to pursue careers in agriculture education, environmental studies, horticulture, conservation, landscape design, floriculture, botany, forestry, habitat or forest systems ecology, land management and/or other allied studies.
