Working the Press: LJ. Emery, Wesley Heald and Alonzo Seavey operate a cider press in 1892. (COURTESY LOVELL HISTORICAL SOCIETY)

LOVELL, Maine — The Lovell Historical Society will present a Fall Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1-4 pm.

This event should have something of interest for all members of the family. There will be a cider demonstration, fall craft activities for children, dealers will be selling their wares, and weavers and spinners will demonstrate their craft. Additionally, traditional “fiddle” music will be performed by “Birds on a Wire.”
