CONWAY — Zeb’s General Store Charitable Fund is pleased to announce the awarding of a $2,500 grant to the Mount Washington Observatory. This grant is intended to support the observatory’s continued efforts in weather and climate research, as well as its dedication to science education within the community. Funding will provide six full scholarships for local students in grades 4-8 to attend the observatory’s day camp, Storm Scouts.
Through this program, participants have the opportunity to engage in hands-on science activities and embark on adventures to the summit of Mount Washington. The camp fosters curiosity about weather phenomena and encourages exploration and learning in a unique mountain environment.
