MADISON — King Pine Ski Area and the King Pine Race Team are proud to announce the Bob Hoyt Memorial Slalom Race, honoring the longtime general manager of King Pine and a dedicated champion of youth skiing and local racing. The event will take place Saturday, January 11, 2026, celebrating Bob’s enduring legacy on the mountain he helped shape for more than four decades.

Bob Hoyt, who passed away in 2020, was a lifelong ski enthusiast. A former member of the Kennett Ski Team, Bob was known for his fearless spirit, natural ability and joy for speed, later embracing snowboarding with the same enthusiasm.
