The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club is proud to continue its partnership with Lake Region Middle School through the Citizen of the Month program, launched in 2024 by the Rotary Youth Committee and LRMS faculty. Each month, one student from each grade is recognized for demonstrating thoughtful choices, respect for others, and a commitment to their school community.

Rotarian Aaron Hagan, vice president at Northeast Bank and a member of the Youth Committee, noted how meaningful the program has become. A father of one current LRMS student — his oldest having moved on to high school this year — Hagan emphasized Rotary’s long-standing commitment to literacy.
