Boosters, Hancock Lumber Player of Week Michael Pierce

Michael Pierce always arrives to soccer practice or a game with a positive attitude and provides energy when his Lake Region teammates need it most, says Laker Head Coach Ryan Harlow.

“Michael is a very important player on our team. Over the last few weeks, he has developed into a leader for our team. Whether he is on the field or in the locker room, he has been a consistent presence. He has sacrificed playing an offensive role in order to ground our defense. He is second in minutes played this season, nearly playing every game minute,” Coach Harlow said. “Michael is a team player and great teammate. Over the last four years, Michael has proven that he can compete against some of the top wingers in the state. He just recently earned a nomination for Regional All Stars to represent Lake Region, also has been named as a fourth captain for the second half of the season.”
