Karen K. Cabot

Brunswick — Karen Kilborn Cabot, 84, of Brunswick and Monhegan Island, Maine, died peacefully in her sleep due to complications of Parkinson’s disease on February 18, 2026, surrounded by her children. 

Born in Portland, Maine, to Delia and Arthur Kilborn, she was raised in Bridgton, graduating from Bridgton High School and Burdett Business College in Boston. In 1963, she married George D. Cabot III, in Panama during his service to the U.S. Army. After returning to Maine, they lived in Bath for many years before building their home in Brunswick.
