Eric Carl Marston lived from May 23, 1948 to Jan. 21, 2026. He lived a very long life. Eric served in the Air Force as a security dog handler from 1967-1971. He married his lifelong partner of 54 years Marguerite (Peggy) in 1971. Eric worked here in Bridgton after his time in the service, working at Pleasant Mt. ski resort for one year, followed by the Bridgton Police Department for five years. Eric also worked for the Cumberland County Sheriff Department for 30 years.

Eric was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He opened and ran Pegalegpetes Leather on Main St. in Bridgton for eight years, closing the store after a motorcycle accident. He then retired and became an avid fisherman on our local lakes and rivers.
