BROWNFIELD — Get ready for a musical experience unlike anything you’ve seen on the hill. This Saturday, Aug. 8, internationally acclaimed guitarist Juanito Pascual brings his extraordinary trio to the Stone Mountain Arts Center, blending the passion of flamenco with the soul of blues, the freedom of jazz, and the electric spirit of rock.
Born in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1973, Juanito Pascual is recognized in both Spain and the United States as a unique and creative flamenco and jazz performer. A world-class guitarist known for his dazzling technique and emotional performances, Pascual pays tribute to one of his lifelong musical heroes, Jimi Hendrix, in a concert that celebrates fearless creativity and inspired improvisation. Rather than imitate Hendrix, Pascual channels Hendrix’s adventurous spirit through the rhythms and traditions of Spain, creating a performance that is both deeply rooted and boldly original.
