Caroline Bither

Wilmington, DEL. — Caroline Nason Bither, 90, died February 2, 2026, in Wilmington, Del. She was born October 9, 1935, in Lewiston, Maine, and raised in Auburn, Maine, where the family heating and plumbing business was located. She was the daughter of Harry E. Nason Sr. and Harriet Files Nason, educated in Auburn, and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 1958

In 1958, she married Peter G. Bither in Auburn. He predeceased her in 1993. Caroline was a 65-year resident of Delaware, and for over 30 years a summer resident of Casco, Maine, at the Pleasant Lake camp originally built by her father. After a brief career in education, she became a dedicated housewife, mother, and volunteer.
