FRONT VIEW SKETCH of the proposed Bridgton Food Pantry building located at 498 Main Street. The Bridgton Planning Board will hold a site walk on Tuesday, July 15 at 4 p.m., and scheduled a public hearing on the project for Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

With nearly $1.3 million raised to build a permanent facility, Bridgton Food Pantry officials face a final hurdle — whether their proposal to construct a new building at 498 Main Street passes the town’s Land Use Ordinance.

Thomas Greer, a registered professional engineer and consultant, and Reed Holden, Bridgton Food Pantry Building Committee chairman, made a presentation to the Bridgton Planning Board Tuesday night.
