Rumford Hospital and Bridgton Hospital, which are part of Central Maine Healthcare, have been recognized by the American Stroke Association and American Heart Association for their outstanding care of stroke patients.
The two critical access hospitals received the Get with the Guidelines Rural Stroke Achievement Award.
