Microtransit provided by Regional Transportation Program.

HARRISON — Harrison residents needing a ride to the grocery store, medical appointments, jobs and community services can soon access microtransit through the Regional Transportation Program (RTP).

RTP has been awarded two discretionary grants from the Maine Department of Transportation to expand local transportation options in Cumberland County. RTP will receive $99,576 to launch a microtransit pilot in the Town of Harrison and $88,139 to launch a microtransit pilot connecting Gorham and Standish.
