EP w5 evans letter Asophodel

Asphodel stained glass window Ned and Carol adopted in the 1869 Methodist Church on Main Street in Bridgton.

To The Editor:

The Bridgton Historical Society (BHS), their dedicated members and the Bridgton community lost a true friend over the holidays. Ned Allen was the BHS Executive Director for many years, managing Narramissic Historic Farm and the archives at the 1937 Firehouse Museum on Gibbs Avenue. Ned worked tirelessly to balance all the organizational needs, with never enough resources to do so. Developing staff, seeking grants, modernizing infrastructure, conducting meetings, processing collections, the list goes on.
