To The Editor:

I have a hard time trying to understand how Democrats think that what they are doing is advancing the prospects of the American people. After all, advancing the prospects of the American people is the primary purpose for having a government. Perhaps the Democrats have been in the Halls of Power so long that they think they have a right to government provided power and privilege. There seems to be a cultish or pseudo-religious element to Democrat policies.
