Bridgton Public Library (BPL) is getting ready for the summer with help from the Friends of the Library. BPL has added over 150 new titles in youth services, featured throughout Skill Builder, Early Reader, and Junior Collections. And as part of the Summer Reading Program, the library is able to offer free books for families to take home to keep. Start building your home library with the generous help of BPL’s Friends!
This year’s summer reading theme is “Plant a Seed, Read!” This is a perfect time to explore gardening, seasons, and the local climate with your child, while also encouraging them to discover some fun facts that will help them learn and grow. The summer reading program is June 16 to August 15 for all ages. BPL will have activities to take home and maker-tables for hands-on creations.
