LOVELL — The Maine Council for Elder Abuse Prevention will present “Elder Abuse: A Community Problem with Community Solutions” at the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library in Lovell on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4 p.m.

This presentation will provide an overview of the issue of elder abuse including statistics, general information about the different types of elder abuse, and where to go for help. Although the presentation includes information about the many valuable resources that are available in Maine to help those who are affected by elder abuse, it does not provide profession-specific content or information about legal reporting mandates.
