The Black Horse Tavern was the location of the annual gathering of the Bridgton High School Class of 1955 on Monday, Aug. 17 for the celebration of their 71st anniversary of graduation.

Those confirming their attendance included five of the 16 remaining graduates and six spouses and guests. Those attending the luncheon were: Carolyn Farrar Keene, her daughter Kim and a friend of North Anson; Nancy Dillingham Pond and her husband Burpy of Naples; William Warren of Gorham/Bridgton; Laurie Chalmers, wife of Bruce Chalmers who could not attend; and Judy MacDonald, widow of Jim MacDonald. Unfortunately, because of sickness, Sandra Gardner Cameron of Auburn and Beverley Leavitt Warren were unable to attend, as well as Sandra’s daughter Kim.
