SEBAGO — The members of the Maine Maple Producers Association look forward to hosting visitors to the 6th annual Maine Maple Fall Fest, Oct. 11-12. Sugarhouses across the state will be open to the public, offering maple treats and maple syrup with an autumn-related theme.

What began in 2020 as a way for producers to open sugarhouses to the public, maintaining smaller crowd sizes during COVID-19, has become an annual event. While the 42-year tradition of Maine Maple Sunday takes place at the height of maple season on the fourth Sunday in March (and many sugar houses are open on Saturday as well), the Fall Fest offers a different experience, focusing on autumn foliage and maple-themed treats.
