SERVICE TO HER COMMUNITY RECOGNIZED — Penni Robbins (left), executive director of the Bridgton Food Pantry, has been selected recipient of the Al Glover Award for Non-Profit Leadership. The Lions presented a $1,000 donation to the local pantry.
Penni Robbins, executive director of the Bridgton Food Pantry, was named the 2025 recipient of the Al Glover Award for Non-Profit Leadership. Penni is pictured with some of her enthusiastic volunteers at the Food Pantry as she received a check for $1,000 to the pantry, a plaque and a gift certificate to the Black Horse Tavern.
Other Lions activities this month include a free Baked Ham Kettle Dinner this Thursday, May 22, at the Bridgton Community Center at 5 p.m.
