CENTER LOVELL — Sandra Bell’s love for art began at merely five years old. Low and behold, it wasn’t just a childhood phase, it was passion. From taking Cleveland Museum of Art classes for children, to attending art school as a young adult, art has always been a significant part of Sandra’s life.
That being said, after college she pursued other interests for a time: while living in Wellesley, Mass., she worked as a real estate broker and chaired the Historic District Commission of the area. Eventually, she was drawn to western Maine in the mid 1990s after years of travel throughout New England. She immediately fell in love with hiking the breathtaking mountains, spending time in the diverse forests, days by the lake, and designing vibrant gardens.
