CATCH SHREK — this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Deertree Theatre

 

HARRISON — Before entering the building for Deertrees Theatre‘s entertaining, often hilarious production of Shrek: The Musical, you’re pulled into the “Shrek” universe, with a “Beware of Ogre” sign, among other signs pointing to various locations like Sherk’s swamp and the kingdoms of Duloc and Far Far Away. 

Deertree’s Shrek which opened June 20, with remaining productions this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, is a blend of talent from Western Maine and the Mount Washington Valley. Several familiar faces to the valley’s theater scene make their Deertrees debut, including Hannah-Jo Weisberg, Grayson Smith, Jennifer Bradeen and Chloe Laine.
