BROWNFIELD — Bright Cloud Mountain, a genre-blurring quartet blending West African musical traditions with jazz-influenced improvisation, will celebrate the release of its debut album “Remaking the World” with a special concert at Stone Mountain Arts Center on Friday, March 6 at 8 p.m.

Featuring Dave Kobrenski on flute and ngoni, Jed Wilson on piano, Mike Sakash on saxophone, and Tim Gilmore on drums, the ensemble’s music is marked by lyricism, rhythmic depth, and an infectious sense of joy. Rooted equally in West African traditions and modern jazz language, they create spacious, melodic soundscapes that invite both deep listening and spontaneous movement.
