There are many things going on in the sporting news of the north country, so much so that I am going to have just enough room to highlight them all and not much more. And, to me, all local sporting news is important to mention, albeit of length.

I will start with the mystery photo from last Tuesday: It was the swimming part of the Half Ironman Competition held at Old Orchard Beach, Maine a few weeks back. Those little black dots along the outside edge were swimmers. The Morin Twins sent it to me and it was taken by Extreme Aerial Photography.
