MOULTONBOROUGH — Under sunny spring skies and ideal running conditions, athletes from seven schools turned in strong performances Tuesday, May 12, as Moultonborough hosted Berlin, Gorham, Profile, Somersworth, St. Thomas Aquinas and Woodsville in a busy track and field meet featuring 16 events. Both the Berlin Mountaineers and Gorham Huskies delivered standout moments on the track and in the field, with several athletes posting top-three finishes and personal-best performances throughout the afternoon.

The boys' sprint races featured some of the tightest finishes of the meet. Senior Breyden Sanchez of St. Thomas Aquinas captured the 100-meter dash in 11.75 seconds, just ahead of senior Griffin Grondahl of Gorham in 12.15, while Berlin senior Evan Hill placed third in 12.37. Gorham freshman Josh Cho added a ninth-place finish in 12.97, while Berlin freshman Ethan Peters finished 19th.
