I guess it is time I got caught up after taking a few days off to spend some time with good friends, April and Tom Meserio, biking, hiking, dining, including ice cream, enjoying fresh ocean air and, of course, great conversation around the campfire in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Hats off to former Milan resident Hillary Lemelin, an excellent student/athlete throughout her school years in the area. Graduating from Berlin High School in 2009, she is now a Navy Builder 1st Class (E-6) and was recently assigned to duty aboard the USS Constitution, which is homeported at the Boston National Historic Park. Congratulations are in order for her for that assignment and for a distinguished career thus-far in the USN.
