GORHAM — The Gorham boys soccer team played Pittsburg-Canaan last Friday and won, 1-0.

Aidan Fox scored the goal in the first half (time: 37.15). The game lacked lots of offensive threats as Gorham had five shots on goal with Fox having two total, including the game winner.

Goalie Ben Harmon saved the two shots taken on him to preserve the shutout.

Coach Tina Binette said, “The first game is behind us and the boys worked hard. Cullen Anderson, Chase Malia and Carson Roberge supported their team by bringing their speed and intensity to the field.
