BERLIN — First round action in the North Country Men's Hockey League concluded Monday night when No. 4 Town and Country shutout top-seeded Amoskeag 3-0.

Early in period 1 (21 seconds in), off a face-off, T&C's Greg Wedge got the puck to Jesse Deblois who deposited it into the net for what would prove to be the game-winner. Later, at 8:51, T&C's Cody Martin had an unassisted breakaway goal off another face-off to give his team a 2-0 lead.
