BERLIN — The former Berlin Medical Center on Pleasant Street will be sold for $5,000 to White Horse Recovery, a step toward building a 16-bed residence in Berlin for men working to recover from substance misuse.

The 7-1 decision came in an executive session meeting after the regular meeting adjourned at 9 p.m.
