BERLIN — A probable cause hearing is scheduled for today in Berlin for the man arrested on 10 felony charges of reckless conduct with a firearm after he allegedly fired bullets into the windows of local businesses and vehicles in recent months, police said.
Richard Devoid, 67, of Gorham is being held on preventative detention in the Coos County jail in West Stewartstown. The Berlin Police Department, with assistance from the Coos County Sheriff's Office, Gorham Police Department and the Colebrook Police Department, investigated the shootings, leading to Devoid’s arrest on April 2. Information on where and how the arrest happened was not available.
