To the editor:

Why are my Berlin property taxes up to $10,000? Unlike others who have recently spoken out at city council meetings, I know the answer — rising public school costs. Why are they rising? Because, during the reign of our last free-state-enabler governor, state contributions to local public schools faltered far below the level that the New Hampshire Constitution requires for the provision of an adequate education “essential to the preservation of a free government.”
