To the editor:

I am retired and depend on Social Security. I also depend on Medicare. Many of you reading this are the same, I believe. I am also a pro duct of a public school system, get my medical care from a federally subsidized health care provider and occasionally use the local federally supported hospital. I bet most of you are the same.
