To the editor:

It’s our country and we need to take care of it. It’s pretty obvious if we don’t take care of surface transportation, energy, drinking water, wastewater, storm water, water transportation and aviation, that people’s lives will be disrupted or lost, and commerce will be diminished. Now we have studies that show that shoddy infrastructure costs each of us money every year.
