The city council tonight will get an update on the inflow and infiltration study being performed on the city’s sewer system in preparation for the federal prison. The council authorized the $50,000 study last spring.

The city’s sewer system is approaching the limits of its current treatment capacity, largely because of rain and storm water that gets into the system.
