BERLIN – North Country entrepreneur David Presby said he has signed a purchase and sales agreement to buy the former Isaacson Structural Steel property with plans to re-establish a structural steel operation there.

Presby said he is completing a couple of final details and talking to former Isaacson employees. He cautioned that the new operation may not be as large or as big as the Isaacson operation. But he said his goal is to find a way to put some of the laid off employees back to work and mitigate some of the economic impact of the bankruptcy and closing of the long-time Berlin business.
