GORHAM — Students, teachers, and parents from Salve Regina Academy celebrated the end of the school year with a procession and motorized parade in Gorham last Friday night.

The parade began at the Gorham Common and proceeded up Railroad Street to Holy Family parish and the school yard.

The parade was led by two students and followed by Pastor Rev. Kyle Stanton and Associate Pastor Rev. David Wong. Students and parents followed in their vehicles. Gift bags and personal items not collected earlier were distributed to the students.

“We wanted a way to celebrate our first school year.” We are now hiring teachers and preparing for the fall opening of the school," said Stanton.
