BERLIN — Whether on a float large or small, walking at a quick pace or slower jaunt, 28 different entities — a mix of the secular and sacred — participated in the annual Parade of Lights Saturday night along Main Street. For young children seeing the dark night sky lit up by the colored and white lights affixed to vehicles passing them by, it brought a sense of wonder, happiness and hope.
The Nov. 29 parade concluded at A House to Home Realty office building, where children could visit with Santa Claus.
