CONCORD — Ahead of the Sept. 8 primary, local races are taking shape, as the Secretary of State’s elections division filings as of June 22 show.

While the campaign season is heating up for state and national elections, there are no primary races for executive councilor, state senator or state representatives to represent Coos County. In fact, there are a number of state representative seats in Coos County for which no Democrat filed to run.
