BERLIN — Gov. Chris Sununu is proposing to use about $168 million in surplus state funds for projects across the state including $300,000 for Hutchins Street work. Last week, Mayor Paul Grenier joined the governor and other local officials in advocating for the earmarks.

“My budget proposal invests one-time monies for the benefit of our communities. I’m pleased to be joined by local leaders from across the Granite State to highlight the importance of these allocations for the growth of New Hampshire’s economy and the benefit of our taxpayers,” Sununu said.
