LANCASTER — A Berlin man has been indicted for stealing 14 solar lights last year from the city’s Riverwalk.

Christopher Ingalls, 33, was indicted last week on a felony count of theft by unauthorized taking, alleging he took the solar lights from the 1,400 multi-use walk along the Androscoggin River. The riverwalk had been completed approximately six months when 11 of the solar lights were reported missing on the morning of May 3, 2023. The next day, three additional lights were reported stolen.
