GORHAM — Having returned to the North Country in January 2025, Sally and Mitch Berkowitz have brought with them the idea of a “Give and Take Shop” at the town’s transfer station.

After visiting the current operations for recycling, it occurred to them that there are many items that could be re-used by others and thereby taken out of the waste stream.
