Nansen Ski Club earns 'Extra Mile' award

BERLIN — The Nansen Ski Club is this year’s “Extra Mile” award winner, a national program that recognizes people in any community that go above and beyond to improve life where they live or for other people who reside in a particular city or town.

Mayor Paul Grenier, at the Nov. 6 city council meeting, proclaimed Nov. 1 to be Extra Mile Day. The first council meeting after Nov. 1 was Monday night.
