GORHAM — More than 200 children from the Family Resource Center’s After School Program helped kick off the Androscoggin Valley Farm to School Team at the Gorham Farmers Market last Thursday.

The students in grades K-8 participated in a scavenger hunt, local soup tasting and other activities. Rep. Robert Theberge (R-Berlin) read health food books to the students. WREN donated a small library healthy food books to Head Start and the after school programs to kick-start their Farm to School curriculum this year.
