CARROLL — A Carroll man has been charged with arson in connection with a large fire that broke out just before midnight Monday at the former Grand View Lodge located at 440 Route 3 North near Twin Mountain.
New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi, interim Carroll Police Chief Tadd Bailey and Twin Mountain Fire Chief Jeremy Oleson announced Tuesday that Richard Vaughan, 30, of Carroll had been arrested on one felony level charge of arson, one felony level charge of criminal trespassing and one felony level charge of breach of bail.
