SHELBURNE — New Hampshire State Police continue in its investigation of why a dog was left on the edge of a bridge in Shelburne on Jan. 1, a bridge over an icy river. The dog’s owner or owners may have been identified but the owner’s or owners' name(s) remains unknown at this time.
Earlier published reports noted state police responded to a call about a two-toned hound dog left on the bridge’s ledge around 3:30 p.m.
