Owned and operated by The Tillotson Corporation of Lexington, Mass., The BALSAMS, a premier New England vacation, wedding and meetings destination, will usher in its 143th summer season with the reinstatement of favored traditions, such as the Grand Lunch Buffet, and a renewed emphasis on affordable, all-inclusive accommodation and dining packages. This summer, the Hotel will introduce Camp BALSAMS, a complimentary children’s program. This fall will bring free WIFI and a new Business Center, which will serve guests, as well as members of the community, with multiple computer stations and high-speed, Broadband Internet access.
Formerly with East Coast Resort Management of New Hampshire and having served as a partner at The BALSAMS from 2002 to 2005, McIver returns with a commitment to uphold the Hotel’s legendary reputation for world-class dining, outstanding year round recreation and genuine hospitality. “The BALSAMS offers a one-of-a-kind experience that has brought joy and fond memories to generations of visitors.
